Camp Tuku will be hosting our rookie camp at Camp Pinerock. Nestled in the cool pines of Prescott, the facility is located, just shy of 2 hours from Phoenix. It boasts over 80 acres of land with 30 acres of private and pristine campgrounds, and surrounded by trails and beautiful mountain vistas for our children to immerse themselves in nature.
Bunks
Our campers are housed in beautifully updated cabins with bunk beds and include a bathroom containing two showers, two stalls, and two sinks. Due to Covid-19, approximately 3-4 campers will live in each bunk with a minimum of 1 counselor, ensuring proper supervision of every child while following social distancing recommendations.
Dining Room
Enjoy your healthy meals in our cafeteria-style dining room. We will provide yummy foods that are balanced, fresh, organic, and sourced locally (where possible). Our professional staff are ready to meet the special dietary needs of our campers and families, including but not limited to vegetarian, gluten free, and nut allergies.
Throughout the day campers enjoy delicious treats. Every afternoon following Rest Hour we open “Snack Bar” for refreshing fruit, juice, ices or ice cream.
Health Center
Our campers will be cared for by Dr. Tim Rider, a board-certified Physician and other care professionals at our infirmary. They are prepared to handle any medical needs that may arise 24×7.
Activity Facilities
Within the 80 acres of land, campers will be able to explore all the facilities that we have to offer. Nature walking and hiking trails, private pool for swimming, Theater, Art Studio, campfire, Outdoor Gymnasium, archery field, Basketball Court, Volleyball Court, Playing Fields, and Disc Golf.
